The American Erasure Series

This new series explores the systematic erasure of African and African American presence, contributions, and memory from the official narrative of American history. “The American Erasure” confronts what has been deliberately removed from culture, education, and landscape and illuminates what still endures through spirit, form, and resistance. Through layered abstraction, symbolic materiality, and ancestral echoes, each work becomes both a requiem and a reclamation of the past.
