The Department of Art at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo is presenting an art exhibit featuring the works of four celebrated African American artists.
Launched at the start of Black History Month, “The Metaphysics of Abstraction” is on display Feb. 3 through April 9, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, third floor of the UH Hilo Campus Center.
The exhibit is curated by Lamerol Gatewood and features artists Danny Simmons, Gail Shaw-Clemons, Garry Grant, and Lisa Corinne Davis.
